A fearless Italian model spent 10 hours in June swimming with crocodiles in a lagoon in the Gulf of Mexico – some 30 miles from the coast – which is home to over 700 American crocodiles. In one extraordinary shoot, Roberta Mancino came face-to-face with a four-meter-long American crocodile. The photography team captured some enchanting pictures of Mancino inches away from the predators, when the crocodiles become more comfortable in her presence as she tried to be nice. Mancino said it has been a long-held dream for her to swim with crocodiles, but no one dared to fund her project before “because it is so dangerous.”

Hollywood Power couple, Jay Z and Beyoncé recently took a holiday on the Galactica Star, an ultra-luxury yacht reportedly owned by Nigerian energy magnate Kola Aluko. The yacht, which costs £50 million (€65 million, $73 million), is 65 metres in length and can travel at 28 knots (32 mph) in favourable conditions. The Galactica Star can house up to 12 guests and contains a full-beam master suite, an upper-deck VIP cabin, and four further double cabins. Beyond this, is a “beach club” with a 10-square-metre balcony, tons of space to entertain guests, and a helipad. Despite reports that the yacht costs $900,000 a week (£580,000) to charter, we learnt you have to know Kola Aluko before you can rent the yacht. More photos from inside the yacht:

The Special Assistant to the Ekiti State Governor on Public Communications and New Media, Mr. Lere Olayinka has counselled the state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), to tell President Muhammadu Buhari to make his assets public properly as he promised Nigerians, rather than asking Governor Ayodele Fayose to declare his assets publicly. Olayinka stated that “Fayose was comfortable before he became governor. He is not a deceitful person who goes about parading mud houses and cattle herds as assets for cheap political publicity.” Reacting, to a statement issued by the APC, asking the governor to publicly declare his assets, he said, “Governor Fayose has declared his assets as provided by the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and whoever that is not satisfied can approach the Court or the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB) for copy of his assets declaration form.” He said the APC was only raising issues on the governor’s already d...

INEC officer, three other female bodies found in room in Anambra

The bodies of four women including that of a female INEC officer, Mrs Chinwe Obi, who was the electoral officer for Onitsha South Local Government Area have been found dead inside her home situated on Olisa Onyeka Crescent near the Commissioners’ quarters in Awka GRA, Anambra state yesterday September 9th. According to reports, the other thee women believed to be church members had come to commiserate with Mrs Obi whose husband who just returned from Cotonou about a week ago had died in the same house. The other three women were found dead with their bibles still in their hands. The state commissioner of police, Hosea Karma said the police was alerted after several calls made to Mrs Obi were unanswered so family members decides to check on her and on searching her house, they discovered the bodies of all the women. He ruled out murder as none of the women had any bruises on them. He said their bodies have been deposited at the state mortuary while investigations into the matte...
